O Poe where'd you go??




The Tell-Tale Heart
The story is about this man who one day got an idea and it was driving him BANANAS. His idea had to do with another old man. He loved the old man, he didn't want his gold, and he had never insulted him. But this old man had the eye of a vulture it was pale blue and followed him everywhere. He hated this eye and that was why he had decided to kill the old man, to get rid of the eye. This man was kinder to the old man the week before he killed hiim. Every night for 7 nights he would open the door of the old man's room and stuck his head in and a lantern that he would allow just a ray of light to shine out and he shown the light on the vulter eye. On the eight night of doing this the old man had woken up. On this night the man opened the crevice and a ray of light shined on the vulture eye. This made the man furious.The old man's heart was beating so hard and fast that he was extremely scared. The sound of the old man's heart beating excited the other man yelled loud, opened the lantern and jumped on the bed. The old man shrieked once. He was dragged onto the floor, and the heavy bed was pulled over him. He was smuggled to death. The other man removed the bed and examined the corpse. He placed his hand on the body and there was no pulse. The eye wouldn't trouble him anymore. Then the man dismembered the corpse by cutting off the limbs. He then lifted three planks from the floor and put the parts there and closed it very cleverly. He finished disposing of the old man at 4 o'clock am, when he got a knock at the door. The police were there because a nieghbor had heard a shriek. The man took the police in the house and showed them everything and even sat them in the room, he placed his chair right on top of where the corpse lied. While they were sitting down the man deard a noise and it drove him crazy until he confessed and told them to lift the planks.
